How to change your registered agent in Indiana

What the statute says
Every domestic filing entity must designate and continuously maintain a registered agent with a physical street address in Indiana.

A registered agent is the person or company the state and the courts send legal papers to. The agent must have a street address in Indiana, not a PO box, and be available during business hours.

The Business Entity Report is due by the end of the anniversary month, every second year (biennial). Fee: $50 for an LLC, $50 for a corporation. Late fee: None (no fee; failure to file leads to administrative dissolution (domestic) or revocation (foreign)).
