How to change your registered agent in Arizona

What the statute says
Each limited liability company and each registered foreign limited liability company shall designate and maintain a statutory agent in this state.

A statutory agent who may be either: (a) An individual who resides in this state. (b) A domestic corporation formed under this title.
A.R.S. § 10-501, read 2026-09-29
A registered agent is the person or company the state and the courts send legal papers to. In Arizona the statute calls this role the statutory agent; it is the same thing as a registered agent. The agent must have a street address in Arizona, not a PO box, and be available during business hours.
Annual report and what happens without an agent
The Annual Report is due on the corporation's anniversary date of incorporation (LLCs file no annual report). Fee: not confirmed for an LLC, $45 for a corporation. Late fee: $9 (per month, for-profit corporations; LLCs file no annual report).
